“Haven” is a one-hour American drama series which was premiered on Syfy on Friday, 9th of July. It is the debut TV drama for Syfy actually based on a novel by the famous novelist; Stephen King which he wrote by the title of “The Colorado Kid” in 2005. Stephen King is known for writing the stories on supernatural elements. Same is the case with this story as it is based on the mystery of a dead body found in a small island off the coast of Maine.
The main character of the play is performed by Emily Rose as the FBI Agent Audrey Parker. Audrey is a confident young agent who tries to solve the mystery of the body found at the coast. When she arrives at that small island which is called Haven in order to solve the case, she comes to know that this island is in fact being used as a refuge by the people who have some strange supernatural abilities.
Rest of the cast includes Eric Balfour and Lucas Bryant. Lucas Bryant is playing the character of local police officer Nathan Wuornos and he afterwards becomes an investigative partner of Audrey Parker. The Series promises a piece of quality entertainment for the viewers and it certainly would be worth watching.
